I thought I would sit down and write up a small glimpse into the things I have going on right now.  At times it can be very over whelming, and at other times I can believe I’m going crazy, but at least I’m not bored.

• I’m working with a friend to get the themes matching even closer than they do now.

• I’m working on getting Sweetcron to work with all of my feeds, and getting it to have a decent theme as well

• This one is still in the very early phases…I’m working with someone on the design and layout, and then I get to start in on the content.

• This one is pretty much done, there are a few touches I still need to work out, but nothing major.  Of course since this is the community that I’m a member of, I have to keep up with the forum traffic.

• Still waiting for the paperwork to be done on this one, but in the mean time, I’ve been working on the design and layout of the site.

• Of course I try to play at least once a month, but with my current ‘Official’ work load, as well as my own personal projects that I’ve listed above, getting that in isn’t as easy as I had hoped.  I’m also working on getting a tournament together for the field we play at regularly.  The tournament will be a joint PBGeeX and Warplay venture.

‘Official’ Work

• We are trying to enter the testing phase of a rather complicated colloboration environment that I designed.  Of course in order to test we need to have the hardware made available to us, and someone seems to not want to allow that to happen.

I think that about covers it for now.

In an interesting turn of events I am helping a Baby boomer learn about blogging at work.  Interesting because 90% of our business is down with the government, and she is starting to learn about web 2.0 tools, wordpress included.  She of course is the sector’s communication person.  So it got me to thinking.

• I don’t do lots of other ‘meta’ things like friendster, linkdin, etc…

I had to ask my self why…I’m a geek…shouldn’t I know about geek things?

Then it dawned on me, part of the reason was I didn’t want to have a half dozen or more places for people to go to keep up with me, or anything else.  Enter Sweetcron

Since I own liqiud.me in addition to liqiud.net I’m going to set that up there in the next day or so, and then have it track everywhere that i exist, as much as possible.  If all works according to plan I’ll start posting more, and it will all be tracked back to one website.

I’m going to try and make a better effort to at least post here every once in a while.  Between the crazy hours i’ve been pulling at work, the hours I’ve been working on our PB Side project, the hours of trying to spend time with the family, and the hours trying to actually play paintball, I haven’t actually had any time to really sit down and write.

So here’s to hoping i can make more time to actually post to my blog, since that was the whole point to it.
